NIDA Online: Mind, Body, Space – An online course that reconnects an actor to their understanding of themself. It allows a performer to enhance their presence through breath, body and vocal work. In this course a performer learns to integrate acting methodologies with holistic practices like yoga, meditation and mindfulness. The overall aim is to connect to yourself as a creative. Use the techniques shown to develop a character from a neutral place. Most importantly, be capable of stepping back from the character and return into a neutral space once again. Self awareness is key.

Devising & Physicality – A workshop conducted by a practitioner from Fantastic Assembly that provided fundamental approaches to devising and team work. Participants learned how to work freely with fellow cast members. They also gained techniques like how to conduct lifts safely.

Screen Acting – This acting and directing workshop that was led by director and acting coach Rea Dennis and screen director Donna McRae. These workshops help actors develop their ability to perform in front of a camera and require actors to work closely with emerging directors.

Acting for Camera – Screen acting skills were developed alongside acting coach and director Rea Dennis and Film Maker Donna McRae, these workshops rely heavily on work conducted with Film and TV students on actor director relations.

Commedia dell’Arte – An interactive workshop that focused on the style of Commedia dell’Arte and improvisation. Physicality was addressed throughout the workshop with the focus being on how to create characters that are distinct while wearing a mask. This workshop was conducted by the talented Rosa Campagnaro who provided useful techniques throughout.
